A super busy mom of six older adult children, Jeanne had reached the point in life where she really wanted to celebrate herself through the gift of her ancestors by booking a Goddess Photoshoot.

The journey within for her unearthed many points that helped her remember how special she was and elicited a greater sense of her roots through her ancestry. Following and connecting in with her Celtic lineage she was inspired to embody that heritage influence and persona for her shoot.

She choose a custom-made costume from ArmStreet medieval store – an phenomenal resource to access medieval type dresses and costumes. The necklace she wore bore special sentimental meaning belonging to her mother. She choose natural hair makeup to embrace her own features and beauty as part of celebration-to-self.

The warm sunny October-autumn day gifted us with bright colors of foliage brilliant with the rays of the sun. The scenery lent itself to creating the magic that we desired to bring forward in her Celtic themed shoot. Going with that sense and theme, I directed the shoot in a very leisurely fashion, strolling through the paths, the trees and beside the streams. Spotting idea places where a stream of sunlight was beaming on the path or reflecting off the water creating the perfect backdrop.

The day was reminiscent of an adults-fun-day out as much as a photoshoot, capturing Jeanne’s soul-spirit in a very relaxed manner, but rich with meaning and heart-warming emotion.
